Wagtails

In January 2006 we launched Wagtails After School Club, operating 3 days per week, Tuesday to Thursday, 3.15pm until 6.00pm. Staffed by two highly qualified and experienced existing staff members, the club available to Baydon School children only, has proved to be a happy and fun-filled environment promoting a ‘home from home’ atmosphere.

Following an Ofsted inspection, only five months later, the inspector was happy to give the club a ‘good’ in all five areas of provision. She recognised the fact we had created a club which offered a safe, secure and happy environment where the children could relax with their friends.

September 2006 saw the opening of Wagtails Breakfast Club. It is open every morning from 7.45am. The children enjoy having breakfast together followed by colouring activities, jigsaws or games.
