Goldfinches Class Work
Goldfinches class has spent Term 3 finding out about dinosaurs.  We have made some stunning papier maché models with the help of our teaching assistant.  We proudly displayed our models at the Education Sunday Service held in the school hall on Sunday 6th February 2011.

We added eyes, teeth, spines and claws using a range of materials.  Did you know that no-one really knows what colour dinosaurs were?  This gave us free reign to mix our own colours and make our models as colourful as we liked!

Don’t they look fierce??

Some of us also made dinosaurs using clay.  It was interesting comparing the skills we needed to make a good papier maché model with those needed to make a good clay model.  Can you guess which dinosaurs we were thinking of when we made the clay models?
