It is supported by the community with volunteers and donations, as a drop-in, needs led food hub, offering food, household items and toiletries. The Food Bank is operated by The Lambourn Junction Community Interest Company, a not-for-profit community initiative. Food poverty is a real issue and is particularly evident in rural environments. e-bug is a health education programme that provides free educational resources for ages 3-16 on hygiene, microbiology, infections and appropriate antibiotic use. e-Bug resources are designed to promote behaviour change amongst children and young people so they adopt behaviours that can prevent or reduce the transmission of infections in their schools and communities.
